Gotchas that bite people
Since Sept 2025, all NEW accounts get the credit-based free plan — the old 100 GB bandwidth + 300 build minutes tier is legacy-only. Most tutorials still describe the old tier
15 GB effective monthly bandwidth is one viral post away from exhaustion — Cloudflare Pages has no such cap
Production deploys cost 15 credits each — push-to-prod-often workflows burn the budget fast
On legacy free accounts, hitting a limit pauses ALL sites on the account, not just the offending one
Notes for developers in India
Global anycast CDN, no region selection. Fine latency in India for static assets.
