Gotchas that bite people
Signup pre-selects the $29/mo Pro plan with an immediate pro-rated charge — you must manually downgrade to the Starter (pay-as-you-go) plan to stay free

Free Postgres allows only 5 active hours per month — not usable for anything always-on
Koyeb announced it is joining Mistral AI — free tier continuity under new ownership is uncertain
Notes for developers in India
Free instances only in Frankfurt or Washington DC — both far from India (~130-200ms). Paid instances available in Singapore.
